 The Eiffel Tower is a lattice tower in Paris. It is wonderful because its construction and height surprise the visitors. It symbolizes the cultural icon of France. It stands as one of the recognizable structures in the world too. The engineer Gustave Eiffel and his company designed and built the tower in 1889. It was named after Gustave Eiffel. It is 320 meters (1,050 ft) tall. In fact it is as high as an 81 storied building. The tower has three levels for visitors. The distance between the first and the second level is the same. The third and highest level can be accessed only by lift. It is famous as a tall construction in the world. So it is the most visited paid monument in the world. Every year millions of people of the world ascend the tower.
