 Position and Core Responsibilities
The role of Senior Officer, Procurement is based at the Head Office and focuses on the procurement of capital goods and equipment for BRAC's various programs and enterprises.

The primary responsibilities include:
1. End-to-end Procurement: Managing the entire procurement cycle, from validating technical specifications and issuing RFQs/IFTs to coordinating evaluations, issuing purchase orders (POs), and monitoring deliveries.
2. Compliance and Documentation: Ensuring all procurement activities comply with BPGIP guidelines and internal policies, maintaining accurate records, and supporting internal and external audits.
3. Coordination: Working closely with internal teams (finance, programs) and external vendors to ensure timely delivery and payment processing.
4. Sourcing and Strategy: Proactively finding new suppliers and managing emergency or high-value purchases.
5. Safeguarding: Upholding BRAC's safeguarding policies to ensure a safe environment for all stakeholders.

Qualifications and Requirements
Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in any discipline is required. A degree in Business, Science, or Engineering is preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.

Skills:
Strong knowledge of procurement and supply chain management. 
Expertise in vendor selection, price negotiation, and contract management.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP systems.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Strong teamwork abilities.
